for AC, I wanna write my ultimate fix-it fic, where Desmond copied Clay's AI to himself, and helps bring him to life with the fountain of youth. All while exploring grief, personhood, self-determination, and what we owe to ourselves and our loved ones. Mostly set on AC3 but with snippets of scenes from the earlier games to contextualize stuff. Slap Desmond and the gang with the HCfying beam and fine tune some of my issues I have with the series. Also Clay makes Des a new arm uwu

it's hard to explain shortly but, consider. Grace can be given and taken away, and while tarnished who can see Grace and thus be caught in the no-dying loop are rare. but what if, it wasn't? what if Grace can be given back with a proper ritual, and you could amass a minor army of undying tarnished?
cut to Messmer being hounded by a band of undying tarnished, and once he succumbs to the abyssal serpent, they get the fire they wanted from the beginning. except, he doesn't die.
he wakes up in the Lands Between, the mountaintops to be exact. the veil was lifted away, and both trees in sight on the horizon. Scadutree and Erdtree, together again, burning. With his fire. The fire he can no longer summon, and his snakes no longer bound to his flesh but still with him. And the eye his mother once plucked has returned. He himself, is now a Tarnished.
someone stole not just his fire, but his divinity and his curse, his very fate. and I wanna figure out if he'd even want it all back or not, after learning well the Lands Between once again.

it's very The VVitch kind of grounded, more psychological horror than real sword and sorcery fantasy.
Jayce and Viktor grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Piltover, and several odd - and grim - occurences has people crying foul magic and witchery. Turns out, they are right, because there is a coven nearby working to bring a new witch into their fold, namely Viktor. Jayce is a blacksmith apprentice and just wants to befriend Viktor, who keeps him at arm's lenght for his own protection, but it only backfires.
After a particularly grueling winter in the village, that led to a dangerous fever that claimed a lot fo Jayce's memories and changed his temperament, things finally go back to normal.
Years later, Jayce has moved to Piltover to become a witch hunter, the only legal way to study magic at all. The clergy has made him responsible for the interrogation and possible exorcism of a man who was captured recently. A man who seems to know him, though Jayce doesn't remember him, and who also seems unhingedly committed to "returning what is rightfully his".
cue several abnormal hauntings, hallucinations and unexplainable events <3

Jayvik/Madoka Magica AU?? 👀
listen. listen. Jay listen to me. im grabbing your shoulders. Jayce is so Homura coded actually, and Viktor is so Madoka coded.
Ximena doesn't survive the snowstorm (post-hypothermia complications can be a bitch) and fem!Jayce (yes it's yuri now sue me) gets sent to an orphanage, the same one Viktor is. they are young here, just kids, but they grow together. at first as academic rivals, constantly challenging each other over their grades.
then the creatures show up.
someone unlocks smth hidden deep in the fissures, and now there are little arcane creatures roaming around granting people wishes. most of them are simple enough, but all of them impossible without magic. anyone can be a target, so long as they Want hard enough for something.
of course, they find Viktor first.
it's not much of a blip on the Council's radar, until news of uncanny anomalous beasts start cropping up around the undercity, and with them, mysterious combatants with odd weapons. that warrants investigation. they find a couple of teens who seem hellbent in unravelling what is up with the creatures granting wishes, and also the beasts attacking people in the dead of night. beasts that seem to only grow in size and power.
things escalate quickly. cue a lot of political and internal tensions, Vianka and Jessa getting separated by several complications, and now there is a huge beast intent on swallowing Piltover whole. and Vianka is the only one left who can even attempt to fight it.
it doesn't go well, and now Jessa wants something truly enough to grab the attention of the wish-granting creatures. so she makes a wish.
