TADC/ Caine's edgy teen creator phase

originally posted on tumblr, Dec 18th 2025

I know we haven't yet moved on the horrors of Caine's actions in ep7 (nor should we lol) but I really wanna talk about how Caine is in his cringe teen dev phase.

cus listen. we all know about how quite often, once you reach a certain age, you start to branch out from the kid-friendly safe-for-all-ages content from your childhood to dabble into more mature themes, and more often than not, those end up being overly scary to the point of farse. cus look! blood and gore and scary stuff! i'm so adult now! then you tend to move on from such things to ""actually mature"" stuff, or you seek out stuff that is better written or developed. you grow your media literacy and narrative preferences, you find what works for you and what doesn't. you develop taste.

your mileage may vary of course, but we all know the deviantart/wattpad creepypasta teenager phase stereotype, that everyone calls nerdy or cringe or whatever the word is nowadays. it's something that takes time to develop out of, because this is probably the first time you can dictate what content you want to engage with, away from parental supervision. some of us did that earlier in life to uh, varying results and trauma, but regardless.

my point is, we can all agree the Digital Circus (and by extension Caine) was made for a young audience, thus the bleeping swears and incapability of computing even the mention of sex. yet Caine is very much trapped with several adults with their own set likes and wants and fears, who have developed their sense of style and preferences, and who have begun to affect him and the Circus too (the Moon gets frisky, Bubbles swears once and seems more than willing and eager to say some really out-of-pocket shit, etc.)

so how do you entertain adults? what is a child's (or child-friendly) mind concept of what adult stuff is? what counts as "mature"? blood and violence and swearwords, sure, but how do you weave that into an interesting narrative to engage them?

going by ep1 and ep2, his adventures seem to lean on a kids-friendly facade and narrative, with some more mature twists on it for the benefit of players like Jax. it seems to be how he has run adventures for a while now, his bread and butter as it were.

but then we reach ep3, and it becomes clear that his creative skills have reached a new high. yes, high, because this is when we see what he considers as "mature" clear and crystal. it's all doom and gloom and categorically horrifying for whoever has gone down the "for mature Zoobles only" door. the aesthetic and narrative likeness to Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Resident Evil doesn't feel accidental, since for folks my age, these series were some of our first taste of "mature" horror.

by ep4, we also find out he doesn't conceive that "an honest day's work" in customer service is actually pretty normal and sometimes welcome! not everyone wants high-stakes games, chill cozy games have a huge market after all, yet he can't quite grasp how to make this interesting by itself. in ep5, we also find out he's caught in this cycle of dark-only narratives because to him, conflict equals something BAD. it reminds me of this thing back in high school where our writing teacher asked us to write a simple creative narrative with conflict and resolution, and after reading them she was so shook 90% of the stories all involved someone dying as a conflict.

and that's the kicker, isn't it? if you do subscribe that Caine is an AI (which he is but everyone has their pet theories), he's probably caught in the developmental stage of a teenager. I'M NOT SAYING THAT HE'S MINOR CODED HERE OKAY, i am saying that he's in a similar headspace creatively as one (hell i've met grown ass adults with this mentality). Conflict equals bad gnarly stuff, stakes must be high or the story isn't good, make it dramatic and shocking otherwise it's going to be boring, mature equals dark and edgy, slice of life stuff is the worst (oh hello Jax), etc etc.

you know what happens when you branch out of your designated one trick as a creative person? when you try things out and grow as an artist, even if you end up coming off as a bit cringe and a try-hard? you get self-conscious. you want approval more than anything, especially when you don't know where you're going wrong, and ESPECIALLY if you're self-taught.

i simply find it incredibly endearing that Caine is characterized like this. it's so deeply relatable, regardless of where you are in your own creative and/or self-discovery path, and it certainly makes him more sympathetic even as an AI and not a human person. and i find that his deep interest in the macroverse can be seen as an analogy to him trying to escape this cycle, to reach out for something more grounded and (quite literally) real. not exactly because he wants to go there, but because he wants to recreate it.

right from the teeth-horse's mouth! he has these glimpses of something greater than him, greater than his own reality, and he wants to emulate it because it compels him. if you squint, you can see a bit of a Plato's Allegory of the Cave and Theory of Forms in there. and maybe some gnosticism too but i know that's the Lies of P brainrot, don't mind me.

digression aside, it's just about right that he overly focuses on the wrong angles about the emotionality of his craft, and struggles to connect with adults because not only he lacks the lived experience of a regular human life, but he also misses the trees for the forest. too concerned about being validated in his art (which is normal and okay to want tbh) especially since it's his one point of pride and self-identity (if you've ever been "the art friend", you know what that's like"), and concerned about making the greatest ever adventures for everyone that he can't see the folly of the endeavor. again, all very branching-out-teen/baby dev! we all have/had this One Big Amazeballs Project that is just the Bestest and will knock everybody's socks off and make you a star, after all.

to close this off, i wanna mention ep7. cus holy shit. i can see all the dominoes that led to this point, but i do also wanna point out how this is where his AI-person lack of understanding and proper context meets his baby creator's need for validation and growth clash in the most beautifully fucked up way. even if Gooseworx hadn't confirmed that Caine is not malicious, just unaware of what he's done, i would have stood by that cus it's quite simply the only possible answer, considering everything i mentioned thus far.

this is the closest he's ever gotten to using the outside world as a plot device and worldbuilding for his adventure. the fast food joint doesn't count as it's a self-contained environment by his understanding, not unlike the Mindenhall Manor. this is him using something he's fascinated by and been working on for a long while, even before the show started by what Pomni experienced. i do not think he lied about that on ep1, and his nervousness about the exit door was his own nerves about his (re)creation. this is his one big project who he thought was going to make everyone love and appreciate him, see how much he's improved in his art. yet, he fumbled it, because he lacks the human understanding of what the outside/macroverse is and MEANS to the players.

Knights of Guinevere/ Arthuriana theorizing

originally posted on tumblr, Sep 25th 2025

heeeey time to put my arthuriana tinfoil hat on!!

So it's already been pointed out that between Guinevere and the Sir Arthur mecha, we might have some round table shenanigans going on in the background. Mind you we only have the pilot to work with, so this is very much just baseless speculation and unrepentant slapping roles around.

Guinevere is Guinevere, nice and clean. The main aspect of her character in arthuriana stories is her courtly love affair with Lancelot while being married to Arthur. It could be that the unnamed male character from some of the promos we see in the pilot is called Lancelot or smth like it, but there is another character who is very very close to Gwen.

Frankie! It's also been pointed out that she has a bit of a Disney princess vibe going on with her robots and doodads, and even has the "animal sidekick" in Boombox. Lancelot is the orphan heir to a lost kingdom, making him effectively a prince, so that's one possible connection. He was also raised by fairies as a child, and her hallucinations of the Star Pups feel rather poignant. She also seems to have an aggressive streak when called for, and Lancelot was known for his fits of anger.

(also can i be even more of a pusher for it, but the unnamed Ken guy has brown fluffy hair, earrings, and his circlet also has a star like Frankie's knight hairtie. Frankie also has a purple cap to his purple circlet. their noses are also kinda similar too?? alright moving on!)

I won't go further on the plot beats involving Lancelot cus it's unlikely to be a one-to-one retelling after all, and I won't do Dana and the team the disservice of going there either. this is themes and vibes mostly.

I will say however, that besides Guinevere, Lancelot's closest relationship in the mythos is with Galehaut.

Galehaut was a half giant, poised to usurp Arthur's throne and kingdom, but he becomes so enraptured by Lancelot's skills, he gives up his goals for the kingdom just for a chance to being Lancelot's friend. They are so close, that Galehaut dies of grief when news of Lancelot's alleged death reach him. Yes, those chapters sometimes feel like they were written with rainbow-colored pens.

Dana has stated that there won't be a romantic line between Franki and Andi, so that's a scratch off, but we don't need them to be romantic for this connection to be still possible.

For one, Andi and Frankie have always been close friends, and the broken sword/shield symbolism around them make them a codependent duo. Likewise, Andi has been shown to "borrow" from Frankie's knowledge in robotics, since she's clearly the one with the skills to handle the job of engineer.

Part of me believes this is in part because Andi is an enabler for Frankie's rose-tinted idealism. The truth of the park's labs and likely the cutthroat inner machinations there would likely demolish Frankie's love for the craft (a grim mirror of how the entertainment business chews you up into irrecoverable burnout and spits you out), thus her taking on that job despite being unwilling seems more for Frankie's benefit than her own.

Regardless, her closeness to Frankie and willingness to help her with the Gwen droid mirrors how Galehaut not only swears companionship to Lancelot, but also wields Lancelot to Guinevere as her champion and lover.

And it has been pointed out that Andi has blue lung, or the beginnings of it, and Galehaut does die in the myths so um. oops??

Oh! I also wanna point out that in Arthuriana, there is the False Guinevere arc, where the evil half-sister of Guinevere turns Arthur against the real Gwen, and sends both the real Guinevere and Lancelot away, and they are both sheltered by Galehaut. make that what you will <3

Knights of Guinevere/ Fixing Gwen

originally posted on tumblr, Sep 21th 2025

a possible story arc i can see for KoG is: at some point, Frankie fixes up Gwen. she's in immaculate condition again and ready to go, but Andi is against bringing her back to the park for some reason. maybe because of Sparky, maybe smth else, who cares. but Frankie still wants to make an impression, to show her skills, so off they go.

it goes terribly bad. maybe it's Olivia herself or maybe it's some spokesperson for her, and they see Gwen and are not impressed in the slightest. more like outraged with what Frankie has accomplished. "you think you fixed her? you ruined her. did you really think you'd know better than us, who made her? you're a menace to us, our brand and Gwen's entire image. go away before we call security for this breach on our assets." and send her away, devastated.

it would be a good critique of Disney, to ignore fans who are trying to salvage the potential in their characters, while putting them down for even trying to offer good critique or be heard over some imaginary line-goes-up scenario from the suits. cus Frankie loves Gwen, even when she's at her absolute lowest she can see the brightest memory of her childhood in her. For the execs, Gwen is just a vessel for printing money at the cost of everything -and everyone - else.

DC/ Brucie in The Batman

originally posted on tumblr, Aug 20th 2025

for the Reeves Batman series, we CANNOT have the playboy Brucie persona because we do not need it, and I'll tell you why: people love a pathetic man.

i will now ramble about it

after the flooding, Batman may have become the dark horse antihero of Gotham, but when Bruce Wayne steps up into the public light, he becomes almost like Gotham's mascot. Batman was present for a good few days furing the immediate response to the flood, but afterwards he vanished for a good few days and honestly, nobody begrudged him for that. dude had been lifting debris and injured people with a fractured sternum for days on end after all.

first real press appearance he makes as Bruce, he looks like a mess. dark circles, pale skin, swaying from exhaustion and looking ready to vomit just from being upright. yet the reporters are relentless, asking about his parents, his debt to the city, the skeletons in his family's many closets. it's a total mess, and public perception of him is awful at first, reasonably so.

but then he keeps showing up, and keeps putting his actions - and money - where his mouth is, and perception is mixed. it doesnt help when he seems less than lukewarm to the Batman when asked about him. then the call happens.

Reál is running everywhere all the time, haggard but undaunted in the face of this crisis, and her and Bruce become closer as he steps up to the needs of the city. close enough to have him on call, and a lucky podcaster gets a semi-informal call between them. he sounds so distraught at being in some online thing on the spot, you can almost hear him flusteredly hiding his face in his hands about it. at one point he just goes "oh no, its fine, its... whatever, yeah, I'll cope." in the weakest, most downcast tone known to man.

it becomes an instant meme online. people picking his most pathetic wet cat looking candids snapped by civilians with the quote on it. gotham folks caption it on everything, from mild inconveniences to, well, their entire homes being lost to flood damage or workplaces being closed down in the wake of the Falcone investigation.

the fun dies the moment some smartass captions it on the photos from the Wayne Tower attack, and then on the Riddler video screenshots regarding the Waynes, but the shift is irreversible.

people are now making "bugs when you lift a rock" and "failwife compilation" memes about him, there are "Bruce Wayne being a dork in front of the press for X minutes" edits flooding social media. the more awkward and fumbling he looks, the more folks seem to appreciate him.

"okay so he wasn't a drug addict narcissist, he's just a loser" posts but in the most appreciative tone. not even the expected "gentle reminder that all billionaires suck" replies can counter the relatability of the guy. reporters from out of town get lambasted when they ask questions a bit too harshly, cus hey! that's our princess only we get to push him around!

some skeptics wonder if it's even some PR stunt to fix his image in the wake of the Riddler attacks, but no. dude is just has that socially awkward loser rizz.

LoP/ Lies of P and Gnosticism - Part I

originally posted on tumblr, Jun 10th 2025

My goodness, this was a long time coming. I apologize in advance, this will be a long ride, simply because the topics I need to approach are very complex and obscure by nature. I'm trying to keep it simple for the average layman reader, but not at the expense of academic integrity. Therefore I have made the executive decision to do this in a series, that will then be compiled into a proper, huge article post. Please bear with me as we embark on this journey! If you go into this, know that despite how thorough I end up being, I will be baaaarely scratching the surface of Gnosticism as a topic of study. This is meant only as a very basic showcase of concepts and names for the sake of connecting them to Lies of P, and to cogitate on possible lore implications. I will also try to cover information regarding the Alchemist faction that falls outside of the Gnosticism purview, like Paracelsus, his writings, and Rosacrucian belief. Anything for the lore~! Let's hold hands, and I promise, we'll make it through together. There will be cake at end.

PART I - Baby steps

Intro

Sophia Monad, Simon Manus, Pleroma Forest, Valentinus. One thing all these names have in common (beside being in Lies of P) is Gnosticism and their relevance to it. Trust me, it's not just for shits and giggles.

But, what the fuck even is Gnosticism?

More than once I have seen fellow theorists and lorekeepers in the fandom struggle with the religious aspects of the game, and I wouldn't blame them. Gnosticism is obscure as all hell, and the more you get into it, the more baffling and confusing it can get, and it certainly doesn't help that most of our historical sources are scarce to say the least. In fact until very decently, we only knew about Gnosticism because of their detractors, which as you can imagine, is hardly a reliable source at the best of time.

I want to thank the video by Max Derrat who first brought up these connections to me, and ever since I've been digging further into the topic and I think there is quite a bit of content to bite into. In fact, I think we can even make predictions on what will come for the next game/s! Yes, it's just that relevant!

Christianity before Christianity

I've been scratching my head on how to even begin this whole affair for months. You see, trying to explain Gnosticism to your average layman is a struggle to say the least, not only because it's convoluted as hell, but because, well. It's not even a thing.

For the uninitiated, gnosticism refers to our current understanding of heretical Christian beliefs from early Christianity, as designated by what would become the Orthodoxy. Now what the hell does all that even meant?

We gotta rewind back to early Christianity, as in right after Jesus got crucified and his disciples and followers lost him. Without his guidance, they had to come up with not only what to do going forward, but also well, what the hell does Jesus even mean to them? Back when Jesus died, most Christians agreed that he was significant, but not much else. It comes with a lot of theoretical theocratic debate on what it means to be a Messiah and what salvation is and what it means for humanity and their souls. I will not get into it cus it doesn't really matter to us.

What does matter is that our understanding of what it means to be "christian" and how to "perform Christianity" didn't sprout ready made, despite what your pastor or priest might have told you. It took several centuries for debate to develop the Christian theology we know today as Catholicism. The Bible doesn't contain every single book that was written by the apostles at the time, in fact the contents of what is deemed "canon" changed several times. For a good time in the history of the religion, the Bible wasn't even a thing!

There was no real settled authority to determine what was right for Christianity as a whole. It was a messy, turbulent hotpot of concepts, ideas, gospels, cultures, influences, wanna-be new messiahs and miracle workers, and it was anybody's game on what Christianity could and might become.

What we today understand as Orthodoxy, the "right" way to do Christianity, is the "Christianity that won the day". They pushed out all the other sects from the spotlight, enshrined what was permissible and what wasn't, decided what would be gospel, and all others were deemed blasphemies and heresies. Those were to be shunned and their teachings mostly lost due to censorship and erasure over the centuries.

As such, it's worth noting that they did not call themselves Gnostics! They saw themselves as Christians because truly, that is what they were. Gnosticism is a modern term for schools of Christian thought and mythology that have similar concepts and ideas, but that is a term we impose upon them. Likewise, to call them heretical or blasphemous is to discredit them as a valid belief system as any other religion. We'd basically be doing the work of the Catholics for them.

While I will be using terms that are ascribed to them for the sake of simplicity and convenience, gentle obligatory reminder that history is complicated and nuanced and written by the victors.

An Evil Creator

Now, what does it mean when we say Gnosticism? We have established they ran counter to what we know as Orthodoxy today, but what exactly did they believe and why?

Well, the 'why' doesn't matter to us as much as the 'what', so let's focus on that.

It's worth establishing that, in Antiquity, the nature of a god, be it polytheistic or monotheistic, is that they are Good. You pray to them for whatever reason, but you trust that they are good, and will have your best interests in mind as their creation or devotee. They may punish you, they may be capricious or mischievous, but they are Good and will do Good. They created this world for humanity, their creation, to live in it and prosper. This goes even more so to the Jewish god Yahweh, who was the sole creator of the universe and everything in it.

Therefore, when came the concept that a god, the God who created the world and all within it, was Evil, that was quite the shake up!

See, this concept to us in modernity isn't new. We've all seen or heard of some fantasy story where the Powers That Art In Heaven are evil and wrong actually, or at the very least unfair and mean-spirited. The Matrix, His Dark Materials, The Good Place, Assassin's Creed, Black Myth Wukong, just to name a few, and I'm sure you can think of others too.

There is a looooot of background culturally and historically, from Egyptian donkey-headed demons and Platonic diatribes to demonic genealogy based on a misreading, but those will only confuse you more than elucidate you at this point. So we're skipping it! (lol)

We'll instead jump over to the 2nd Century, where a guy named Marcion of Sinope proposed a theological theory that the god depicted in the Old Testament and the Torah, the god of the Jews, was a vengeful, evil god, who used the Jews to kill the son of the true, actually Good god, Jesus, so maintain his control over the world. As you may imagine, this reeks of antisemitism and indeed, early Christianity is rife with it, but bear with me for a bit here.

If you have dabbled into Christian theology or those atheist manifestos from the 2010s youtube era, you must have come across this thinking before. That the god of the Old Testament is near completely different from the one in the New Testament. One is a vengeful, tyrannical god that commands violence and brutal judgment on those who oppose him, and the other is full of love and forgiveness, who loves his children equally and accepts all sinners who repent and seek his light. How can they both be the same?

The simple answer, to Marcion, is that they aren't. One is God the benevolent father of Jesus, and the other, is the Demiurge. Put a pin on that name.

Normally, this is where I would delve into the arguments that Marcion made for this thesis, which aren't too shabby all things considered, but as I pointed out before, it delves into far too much antisemitism for my tastes and escapes a bit from our focus. Suffice to say, this period in Christianity involves a lot of pointing fingers and accusing one another of being the Devil or demonic or in league with the Devil and demonic powers, yadda yadda, we know the old-song-and-dance. Marcion was himself even called an antichrist and heretic by his contemporaries for this very theory!

What does matter is that Marcion is a name to remember, not only because of this theory, but because he was the first to publish a cohesive canon for the New Testament! It caused the proto-Orthodoxy to release their own canon in response to his New Testament, which sends us to the canon races and what would eventually become the Bible as we know it today.

To be clear, Marcion was not a gnostic nor can his teachings be directly correlated with what we call Gnosticism. Remember, this was a hodgepodge of concepts and ideas of which we struggle to directly connect and correlate to this day. While the concept of an Evil Creator is shared between Marcion in the east and the Gnostics in the west of Rome, the details become harder to reconcile.

Now back to that pin. Demiurge. One might wonder why this name sounds a bit Greek and - besides the fact that early Christian theology did always involve quite a bit of Greek - that's because this name comes from classical theories of philosophy. If you've ever had a (passably decent) lesson in philosophy, then you're familiar with Plato's parable of the cave. The people who are trapped in the cave and only know the "world" by the shadows cast on the wall of the cave, who never learn about the true outside world? Yeah, that one.

The Demiurge functions here are the sculptor of the material world. He can see the shapes and forms from the world of the Ideal, where everything is perfect and good and well, ideal. But he, a fallible creator, with access to imperfect materials, cannot recreate the Ideal world though he's benevolent in truth and wishes to make a good world in kind. Similarly, we flawed humans cannot create ideal works of art thought we try, as we are too many layers distant from the world of the Ideal. Our material world is the shadows on the wall of the cave, mishapen illusions cast from the Ideal, and because it is all we know, we deem it "real" and all there is.

Gnostics have majorly adopted the term and general concept for their flawed creator, and ascribed to him varying levels of "evilness".

The up-coming relevant stuff

Okay, so I just made your read over 1.6k words worth of primers, and you're wondering when I'm finally going to get to the point. Maybe you're not and you're a nerd like me, and if that's the case, I love you. But if you are wondering, then I'm sorry but it will take a little bit more. Sorta.

When I said this time of Christiantiy was chockful of theological theories and dissertations, I wish I was kidding. There are dozens of branches in gnostic schools of thought alone, and those are the ones we know of and have sources or mentions of. It would not feasible to go through the relevant details of them all here without turning it into a college-level class on the topic, so we'll keep to three main branches, which are the ones most people are familiar with anyhow. Well, two main ones and a third one which feels relevant to Lies of P.

Remember how I said Marcion was a relevant figure in all this? Here's another one, Simon Magus. Yeah, jumpscare!

Simon of Samaria or Simon Magus, so named by Irenaeus (he'll come back later) is known in Catholic Christianity for doing all sorts of whacky stuff, from floating to prove his powers only to fall and break his legs, to being the eponym for the sin of simony. For those who don't know, simony is trying to buy or sell ecclesiastical offices, sacraments, or sacred things; basically to exchange spiritual gain for worldly gain.

One would think this man the Devil incarnate or something for such a terrible reputation - and in Bible of all accounts! -, but he's also attributed as the founder of what we call Gnosticism. Which is a debated credit, granted, since he was attributed the founder of the Simonian gnostic sect, which appeared around the 2nd Century. Also, he's not the Devil incarnate but God remade. I'll explain, don't worry.

The major point when it comes to Gnosticism is that, despite minor (and major) disagreements in their world order and genesis retellings, is that they seem to agree that the material world is a prison, and our mortals bodies bound by Fate are shackles. Our souls, our spiritual breaths, are the divine spark given to us from the ineffable realms beyond and above the material world, where we truly belong and where we all should aspire to return to. We are kept here alongside the Evil Creator, the Demiurge, who in his ignorance or jealousy, keeps us from being reunited with the divine source.

In that light, the story and angle we know from established Christianity is completely turned on its head. In Gnosticism beliefs, Eve blessed mankind with true perfect knowledge because she defied the order of the Demiurge, the devilish snake was sent to rescue her and Adam from ignorance and stupidity, and Judas Iscariot was not a cursed traitor, but an instrumental part of the salvation of Jesus from the cage of his mortal flesh. To know and understand these things, is to acquire knowledge, Gnosis - thus the name.

The way one may escape this prison however, and if it's even possible for some people, changes quite a bit depending on the school of thought you're dabbling with, however. For example, for Simon, to awaken to the knowledge of these things and to attune oneself to the divinity within and beyond the material world, is to become divine yourself. As such, all can awaken to godhood in their own right, and become as Jesus in divinity and self-actualization and self-salvation. Kind of WWJD mentality but to the extreme.

There are some other interesting (creepy) bits about this guy, but I'll get to them waaay later, when we tackle the lore implications. His other bit of relevance to us is also that his texts might have been an earlier form of one of our important branches: the Valentinan doctrine.

Valentinus was a major guy in early Christianity, though your average Joe will definitely not know of him. He was a well-known and respected figure among the proto-Orthodox community, known for his hymns and eloquence, and almost was elected bishop! When he was passed up for the position, he allegedly broke with the Catholics and began his own sect which, given the effort Irenaeus and his contemporaries went through to declare his teachings heresy, we can safely assume was incredibly popular.

His gnostic system is by far the most complex (and difficult to understand or explain), but also probably the one you're most likely familiar with, alongside Sethianism. Which, you guessed it, is our second main branch!

Sethianism seems to have had origins in Jewish sects prior to the movement of Jesus, which would become Christianity, but their origins and influences are less attested than Valentinianism. We don't really know who wrote most of their books, and their history is still veiled in lost history. It has however the easiest (though that's not saying much) gospel I've had to go through so far, and the name should ring a bell: The Apocrypha of John.

And what about our sort of third branch? Well, it's dicey. The book itself has been named Pistis Sophia, though the four volumes which form it have no clear title and the name was given to it when they were first translated. The attribution of which sect it belongs to is also not quite settled; some have attributed it to Valentinus (because of course, why not?), while some cogitate Ophitian and Severian, none of which I have an interest in covering here.

This book however, is not only well-known among Gnostic afficionados, but also rather relevant to Lies of P in my view. Therefore, we will cover it rather than whatever possible branch it belongs to. Cool? Cool.

To be Continued #1

Oh, don't look at me like that. I told you earlier this was going to come out in parts, and I did make you sit to almost 3k words of information. So sit back, stew a bit on what you got so far, and let me know your thoughts. Concerns, questions, praises, existential crisis, send them my way!

“You invented a portal to other worlds, is what I’m hearing?”
“No, just one world in specific. This one.”
Viktor frowns, suspicious.
“And why this one?”
Jayce tries and fails to not chew on his lower lip, and hazel avoids Viktor’s steady gaze. Whatever the answer is, it will not be an easy one to hear.
“Because, it’s the one you’re in.”
