inspired by the Yoshitoshi print, featuring my Wukong design.
i'm still working out his pilgrimage outfit tbh. going for a simple fillet headband, and i like the arm and leg bands but not sure if i wanna keep them. keeping the robes rather loose help sell the whole "skeletal" deal people often describe him as, i like my Wukong hella lanky.
oh, definitely going to keep the ruyi jingu bang letters though, they look great :>
my biggest issue is if his shoulder fuzz should show over his robe or nah. i don't want it to look like he has human hair, but it's such a dear part of his design.... i really played myself orz
